                           Windows 11


Windows 11 is a major version of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft that was announced on June 24, 2021, and is the successor to Windows 10, which was released in 2015. Windows 11 was released on October 5, 2021, as a free upgrade via Windows Update for eligible devices running Windows 10.

Windows 11 features various interface tweaks including a new Start menu that looks more like an app launcher, more rounded corners, snap controls that let you pin a window to a spot in your screen (and snap groups), a new Widgets area and icon in the taskbar and a new Windows setup experience. 

Snap groups and Snap layouts are particularly cool - enabling you to have greater flexibility and choice over how you set up your display with multiple windows. Windows can now be arranged in different ways, while Windows will remember your layouts so you can easily get back to them in future. Windows 11 will also remember how you laid out your windows on an external display and give you access to that layout when you re-dock.

Many icons have been updated, too, giving everything a fresh feel compared to Windows 10. However, in terms of functionality, it's not a huge leap on from Windows 10 - more an iteration. 

The key design change is the new Start menu which you can see above. The taskbar icons are now centralised (you can move them back if you want). The Start menu also shows you your most recently touched files.  

The new Widgets bar - which you can resize - is essentially the replacement for the Start menu live tiles from Windows 10, enabling personalised information such as relevant news stories to be delivered. There should be a lot of different options here come launch as developers will also be able to contribute.

On tablets, snapped Windows change orientation if you move to portrait from landscape. Touch targets have also been made larger so it's easier to use for touch. 

Android apps will also now be able to be installed on Windows 11 via the Microsoft Store which itself will be redesigned. The apps will come from the Amazon Appstore, so there won't be quite the range that you'd get on Google Play. It's been reported that this process won't be easy since you will need to sign in to an Amazon account to download it first. 

Microsoft Teams will, however, be baked into the operating system it seems, seemingly now being preferred to the officially forgotten Skype. 

For gaming, Windows 11 supports Auto HDR from Xbox Series X which adds HDR to games built for DirectX 11 or later. 

Microsoft wants to position Windows as a platform for other stuff more than ever. Microsoft says it will welcome any type of app to the store - not just 'native' store apps even if developers use their own ways of taking customer payments.

Interestingly there are a bunch of features missing from Windows 11 which we've detailed in a separate feature but these include Live Tiles - replaced by the Widgets sidebar - Tablet Mode, Timeline and Cortana being front and centre. There are also a bunch of other apps no longer present and these include the old Internet Explorer.

Razer Project Brooklyn



This concept for a next-gen gaming chair might be better described as a luxury gaming pod. An arc of a retractable 60-inch OLED screen provides a panoramic view. Ergonomic cushions cover the seat and arms. RGB lighting pipes the chair. A table folds in and out for PC-to-console ease. And, much like the haptic feedback incorporated into Razer’s surround sound headset, the chair’s frame is equipped to vibrate throughout gameplay. It’ll be better than any ride at Universal. But, alas, it’s just a concept.

 

HyperX Cloud Stinger S Gaming Headphones With Noise-Cancelling Mic Launched in India

HyperX on Tuesday, September 21, launched brand new gaming headphones called the Cloud Stinger S in India. The new addition to HyperX's gaming headset range comes equipped with 50mm drivers, and rotating ear cups. The Cloud Stinger S features a noise-cancelling microphone that is claimed to deliver clear sound. The headphones also have adjustable steel sliders. HyperX Cloud Stinger S is said to provide a 7.1 virtual surround sound experience using HyperX's NGENUITY software, which also helps customise other HyperX headsets like the HyperX Cloud II Wireless, Cloud Alpha S, and Cloud Stinger Core Wireless + 7.1.

HyperX Cloud Stinger S is priced at Rs. 5,990 in India. As of now, the device is available for purchase exclusively through HP World stores.

The HyperX Cloud Stinger S headphones are lightweight at 275 grams. They are equipped with 50mm drivers that are said to deliver a virtual 7.1 surround sound. The headphones also have a ‘swivel-to-mute' noise-cancelling microphone. The ear cushions are constructed out of leatherette and memory foam and the adjustable sliders are made of steel. As said above, the headset comes with earcups that can rotate up to 90 degrees and allow gamers to rest the pair on the neck during breaks. The headset also includes volume control on the earcup.

HyperX Cloud Stinger S comes with a frequency response range of 18Hz-23,000Hz and an impedance of 32 Ohms. HyperX says the headphones are compatible with PC. The headphone cable is 2.5 metres in length that allows for a 3.5mm connection.

HyperX NGENUITY software can be used to customise the button assignments on the headset. Users can also use the software to set up lighting and effects, create and store macros, adjust mice DPI settings, and customise keyboard Game Mode.

         Xiaomi introduces first over-the-air          charging system called Mi Air Charge


 Xiaomi aims for a truly wireless future with the Mi Air Charge system, which is capable of charging multiple devices wirelessly from a distance.

Traditional wireless chargers still need to be attached to a power source, be it a battery pack or outlet. The latest technology from Xiaomi, on the other hand, uses radio waves to charge a device over the air — truly without wires.

Xiaomi announced its new Mi Air Charge technology on Friday. The system uses a base station with 144 antennas broadcasting a charging signal to compatible devices.

Xiaomi says that a smartphone with a receiving antenna array can connect to the charging point "within a radius of several meters." The company says that users can move about the room and have objects between the devices without interrupting charging.

A millimeter-wave signal is broadcasted directly to the device via beamforming with a beacon antenna. The device can charge multiple phones at 5W of power each.

Xiaomi hopes to use this technology in smart watches, speakers, and other appliances so that future devices no longer need a power cable at all. They imagine a world where everything in the room is truly wireless.

This isn't the first we've heard of "truly wireless" charging. Apple was previously rumored to be partnered with Energous, an over-the-air charging company, but the rumors never panned out. Although are no current rumors of Apple using distance wireless charging technology, previous rumors began as the Energous CEO said they had partnered with a "tier one company". At the time, it was implied to be Apple.

Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs Aren't for Ready for Gamers Yet - Here's Why




 At Gamescom 2018 last week, Nvidia lifted the lid on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GeForce RTX 2080, and GeForce RTX 2070 with a release date of September 20. The GeForce RTX series is based on an architecture codenamed Turing that merges conventional graphics rasterisation, real-time ray tracing, AI, and compute power for the first time.

Nvidia claims that Turing delivers up to 6X the performance of the previous-generation 10-Series GPUs. Gamers will be able to play the most recent and upcoming titles in 4K with HDR at frame rates exceeding 60fps.

The GeForce RTX series GPUs feature new hardware called RT cores. These allow hardware acceleration of light rays in real time, which has never been possible before with consumer-grade silicon. The possibilities include deferred shading, and real-time transparency and translucency effects with objects in motion, allowing for shadows and light to behave more realistically. All this means that gamers will be able to see reflections of things like explosions that aren't even happening on screen. In theory, this should result in better looking games with a greater sense of fluidity and immersion, which might seem like a breath of fresh air following two years of the Nvidia GeForce 10-series GPUs.

Seagate One Touch SSD 
Seagate knows that consumer interest in portable SSDs is growing, and so its portfolio has also expanded. We have with us for review today the new Seagate One Touch SSD, which is relatively affordable and quite stylish. It's positioned as a tech lifestyle device, and targets people who don't necessarily need the best possible speed but are looking for something better than a typical portable hard drive.
For anyone who hasn't tried an SSD before, the differences compared to a hard drive will be stark and surprising. They're potentially multiple times faster than hard drives, but much lighter, smaller, easier to carry, and more reliable. Many people are happy to spend good money for these advantages.

Seagate One Touch SSD (1TB) design and features

Seagate is definitely focusing on design with this model. The company has gone for a credit-card shape, though despite claims that this device can be slipped into a wallet, it's much too thick for that. In fact, this drive is almost exactly the same size as the very popular Samsung SSD T5, though very different in design.
There's a distinctive textured fabric panel on the top, and a cloth tab with the Seagate logo on one side. The 1TB version of this SSD is available only in white and black, but if you choose the 500GB version, there are special editions with blue, green, red, or grey camouflage prints. Additional artist editions for both capacities are shown on Seagate's US website though these don't appear to be available here, and there's the possibility of more designs coming out in the future.
For a device that's positioned as modern and fashionable, we're quite surprised to see an old Micro-USB 3.0 port on the back, like most external hard drives still use. This isn't as convenient as a USB Type-C Port, which we'd expect on an SSD. Seagate also doesn't include a Type-C cable or adapter, so those with sleek Type-C-only laptops will need to buy an adapter of their own

Asus VivoBook S15 (S532F) WithScreenPad  
Asus took us quite by surprise when it introduced the quirky and unique ScreenPad on its flagship 2018 laptops, the ZenBook Pro 14 and ZenBook Pro 15. The company effectively replaced the standard trackpads on these laptops with fully interactive touchscreens. The idea was to retain all the functionality of a standard trackpad but also open up completely new ways to use a laptop. We had a lot of thoughts about the concept and execution of the ScreenPad idea – not all positive. While there was a lot of potential, it seemed as though Asus had failed to strike the right balance between usability and innovation.
We now have some new laptops with the second-gen ScreenPad, which Asus says has been refined and focused. The concept has also been democratised, and can now be found on mainstream VivoBook as well as premium ZenBook laptops. This could be a good thing, giving Asus a unique and attractive selling point in the crowded market – but it could also backfire, confusing users and making everything more difficult.

Windows 7 users can update to Windows 10 by purchasing and installing the software online. Users who are owners of very old machines, should consider installing Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, as Windows 10 may not function properly on old devices.


Microsoft's decade-old operating system - Windows 7 - will reach ‘end of life' on January 14. This means that the company will stop the free technical support and producing ‘security patches' to fix software vulnerabilities. It is recommended that all users switch to Windows 10 or newer Windows versions before Windows 7 support ends. While Windows 7 won't see any support, Google claims that it will keep updating Chrome on Windows 7 devices with software and security patches for 18 more months. This means support for Chrome users on Windows 7 will go on till July next year.The tech giant is all set to end support for its Windows 7 software next week i.e. on January 14. While the software won't stop working, Microsoft won't be delivering any security patches, t hereby making it a breeding ground for hackers to tinker with. The ideal solution, as mentioned, is to update to the latest software. While the free program to update to Windows 10 ended on July 2016, users can  purchase the software and install it easily. 
So, what does the January 14 date mean exactly? On its site, Microsoft says "After January 14, 2020, if your PC is running Windows 7, it will no longer receive security updates. Therefore, it's important that you upgrade to a modern operating system such as Windows 10, which can provide the latest security updates to help keep you and your data safer. In addition, Microsoft customer service will no longer be available to provide Windows 7 technical support. Related services for Windows 7 will also be discontinued over time. For example, certain games such as Internet Backgammon and Internet Checkers as well as Electronic Program Guide for Windows Media Center are scheduled to be discontinued in January 2020."



CES 2020: THUNDERBOLT 4 ANNOUNCED BY INTEL

CES 2020: Thunderbolt 4 Announced by Intel, Will Offer Same Speed as Thunderbolt 3

Intel claims that Thunderbolt 4 will be four times faster than USB 3.1 which offers 10Gbps data transfer speeds. This means that Thunderbolt 4 will top out at 40Gbps speeds.

At CES 2020, Intel announced its Tiger Lake CPUs, and these new processors will come with Thunderbolt 4 support. The next-gen external connector from Intel is confirmed to come with the new 10nm CPUs this year, but the chip maker has avoided revealing too many details as of now. Intel claims that Thunderbolt 4 will be four times faster than USB 3.1 which offers 10 Gbps data transfer speeds. This means that Thunderbolt 4 will top out at 40 Gbps speeds, similar to that of the four-year-old Thunderbolt 3.While Thunderbolt 4 is supposedly not faster than Thunderbolt 3, updating the version number could mean few tweaks are well in store. Intel is remaining mystical on the details for now, but the company should shed some light once its launch nears. Intel spokeswoman Sarah Kane told CNET that the company plans to share more details on Thunderbolt 4 later. She claims, “It standardises PC platform requirements and adds the latest Thunderbolt innovations.”

             Thunderbolt ports are found on premium devices like Apple's MacBook laptops and Dell's XPS laptops, but haven't been adopted as widely as Intel would've hoped. USB continues to be strong competition with the USB 4 announced last year. USB 4 should arrive in products this year, and claims to offer 40Gbps data transfer speeds, similar to that of Thunderbolt 3.The upcoming 10nm Tiger Lake CPUs will feature integrated Xe graphics, improved AI integrations and native Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 for connectivity. The company says that manufacturers will start receiving Tiger Lake CPUs in summer 2020, so laptops with the new processors can be expected to launch sometime by the end of this year.

AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT Graphics Cards for 1080p Gaming Launched in India
AMD announced the impending launch of a Radeon RX 5500 GPU series in early October, and now the Radeon RX 5500 XT has now been launched. With this new GPU, AMD is targeting gamers who want high performance at 1920x1080 without spending too much. According to AMD, gamers who play at 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 represent over 90 percent of the market, and the company is targeting these two groups with the new Radeon RX 5500 and the previously launched Radeon RX 5700 series respectively. There has not been any mention of other GPU models within the Radeon RX 5500 family, at least not yet, although the Radeon RX 5500 XT will be available in versions with either 4GB or 8GB of VRAM.
In India, AMD has announced indicative starting prices of Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 14,990 (both excluding taxes) for the 4GB and 8GB versions of the Radeon RX 5500 XT. Graphics cards in both configurations should be available from AsusGigabyteMSIASRockSapphireXFX, and PowerColor in various parts of the world starting today. Asus has announced that its customised Asus Dual Evo 5500 XT (8GB) model will be available priced starting at Rs. 17,500 in India, while a Strix series model (also 8GB) will cost Rs. 19,500 and go on sale a week from today.
AMD will not be creating a reference cooler, and so all graphics cards will be custom-designed versions. The company has shown off images of cards from all its AIB partners, and they appear to vary in size, but all feature either two or three fans. Partners will be free to modify clock speeds and power characteristics.
The Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU is built around the same RDNA architecture, 7nm manufacturing process, and PCIe 4.0 infrastructure as the higher-end Radeon RX 5700 series. The GPU features 1,408 stream processors clustered into 22 compute units. The reference boost clock is 1845MHz, while AMD's "game clock", or the speed that gamers should expect to see consistently, is 1717MHz. AMD has used 14GBps GDDR6 memory on a 128-but bus. The reference total board power requirement is 130W

Intel 'Ponte Vecchio' Xe Graphics Architecture, 'Sapphire Rapids' Xeon CPUs, OneAPI Toolkit to Power Aurora Supercomputer

Intel has disclosed an early overview of plans for the upcoming Aurora supercomputer, which it is building in conjunction with Cray for the Argonne National Laboratory, run by the United Sates Department of Energy. It is due to be delivered in 2021. The key components of the Aurora supercomputer will be 'Ponte Vecchio' GPUs based on Intel's Xe graphics architecture, and Xeon Scalable CPUs from the 'Sapphire Rapids' generation. This is the first time that Ponte Vecchio has been disclosed publicly. To tie everything together, Intel will be offering its new OneAPI software toolkit, which is said to allow developers to easily work with multiple CPU, GPU, and accelerator architectures.

Starting with Ponte Vecchio, Intel has been publicising its upcoming integrated and discrete Xe graphics processors for some time now, and is definitely planning to target gamers and PC enthusiasts. However, the bigger picture is that Xe will be an overarching framework that can be customised for different products. Intel has now confirmed that its Xe architecture strategy will address segments right from ultra-mobile graphics to gaming, and workstation graphics, as well as high-performance exascale-level AI and deep learning applications.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X With 32 Cores Announced
AMD has announced two new high-end Ryzen Threadripper processors with up to 32 cores, as well as a new entry-level Athlon processor with integrated Radeon Vega 3 graphics. The company has also disclosed the official date of sale for its delayed 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X desktop CPU. The new Athlon APU model will go on sale from November 19, priced at $49 (approximately Rs. 3,470 before taxes) while the high-end processors will all be available starting from November 25. The 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 3970X will cost $1,999 (approximately Rs. 1,41,565) and the 24-core Ryzen Threadripper 3960X will cost $1,399 (approximately Rs. 99,073). AMD has also introduced the new sTRX4 socket which its third-gen Ryzen Threadripper CPUs will use. Motherboard manufacturers are expected to announce compatible new motherboards soon.
The third-generation Threadripper CPUs are based on AMD's Zen 2 architecture and manufactured using a 7nm process. They are expected to compete with Intel's recently announced 'Cascade Lake-X' lineup of X-series processors. Base clock speeds for the Threadripper 3970X and 3960X are 3.7GHz and 3.8GHz respectively, with a common boost speed of 4.5GHz. Both models feature multi-threading for up to 64 and 48 threads respectively. Both also feature 128MB of L3 cache and 280W TDP figures. They use the same modular 'chiplet' design as AMD's current-gen Epyc server CPUs. RAM support officially goes up to 256GB of quad-channel DDR4-3200.

Dell Technologies on Friday unveiled its OptiPlex 7070 Ultra - a flexible, modular and zero-footprint PC which targets the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) and Information Technology Enabled Service (ITES) sectors.The PC has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 47,999 + GST (inclusive of keyboard and mouse). The company is, however, selling compatible display options separately
According to the company, the devices will get manufactured in India at its factory in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra places the desktop PC into a monitor stand that reduces footprint. It allows for maximum use of desk space, improves productivity, and reduces IT investment.The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra can support up to three daisy-chained USB-C displays at once, thus, transmitting power, data, video and audio using 'DisplayPort' and giving users the ability to immerse themselves in their work for increased productivity.

The biggest buzzword during Google's Made By Google event was ‘ambient computing'. Google used it the most when it unveiled the new Pixel Buds, which are now truly wireless headphones. The previous generation of this product was a neckband-style pair of headphones. The new Pixel Buds will be launching in 2020, at $179 (roughly Rs. 12,750).



The Pixel Buds are a pair of in-ear headphones, which look a bit like Samsung Galaxy Buds. Google claimed that these will feature noise isolation, and will last for five hours on a single charge (up to 24 hours via the charging case). You can access Google Assistant via the Pixel Buds, which are sweat and water resistant.

Asus on Thursday unveiled its dual-screen laptop series in India which comprises the ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581) and the ZenBook Duo (UX481) at a starting price Rs. 2,09,990 and Rs. 89,990, respectively. The company refreshed its ZenBook lineup with Intel 10th Gen Core processors - the ZenBook 13 (UX334), ZenBook 14 (UX434), and ZenBook 15 (UX534), for Rs. 84,990, Rs. 84,990 and Rs. 1,24,990, respectively. Asus also launched the VivoBook S431 for Rs. 54,990 and VivoBook S532 for Rs. 69,990.
With the ZenBook Pro Duo and ZenBook Duo, the company says it has paved way to a new form factor for laptops and come equipped with both a keyboard and a secondary touchscreen for input. 
The ZenBook Pro Duo (up to Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, GeForce RTX 2060) features a full-width 4K Asus ScreenPad Plus that works seamlessly with the main 4K UHD OLED display, while ZenBook Duo (up to Intel Core i7-10510U processor, GeForce MX250) features a full-length 1920p AsusScreenPad Plus that works with the main 1080p FHD LCD display. The ZenBook Pro Duo offers a 4K UHD NanoEdge OLED HDR display with a four-sided frameless design and ultra-slim bezels.          It's been two years since Sony launched its flagship A9 full-frame mirrorless camera, which was already a beast of a performer. Now, the company has quietly introduced a follow-up to that model, unsurprisingly called the A9 II. The new version doesn't add anything major over its predecessor but it does get some notable improvements in terms of ergonomics, stabilisation, and a faster wired and wireless connectivity. All of this is aimed at improving and speeding up the workflow of professional photographers. The new camera will be available in November for $4,500 (roughly Rs. 3,19,600).

             The storage and wireless connectivity also have big upgrades on the Sony A9 II. The USB Type-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen1 data transfer speeds and both SD card slots now support the faster UHS-II speeds. In order to ease up professional workflows, the A9 II includes a Gigabit Ethernet terminal, 5GHz Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and File Transfer over SSL or TLS encryption (FTPS) for added security. There's also a new Voice Memo function, where photographers can attach spoken information for a particular photo. This seems like a very useful addition as it will let photographers relay additional context about the photo to editors, for how it should be edited or where it has to be used.
Most of the other features on the Sony A9 II remain the same as the older model. The camera can shoot up to 20fps using the electronic shutter with no blackouts; 693 on-sensor phase detection autofocus points; 4K video recording up to 30fps; 3-inch touchscreen display and a 3.76M-dot resolution electronic viewfinder

HP ProBook 445 G6 Business Laptop With AMD Ryzen CPUs, 180-degree Hinge Launched in India

Popular laptop manufacturer, HP, has added a new model to its commercial laptop lineup in India. Called the ProBook 445 G6, the laptop features a choice of AMD Ryzen quad-core CPUs, a promise of long battery life, and HP's Endpoint Security Stack for physical, identity and data theft prevention. The laptop is now available in India, starting at Rs. 67,260.
The ProBook 445 G6 is designed to be slim and light, measuring about 18mm in thickness and with a starting weight of 1.6kg. It's powered by AMD's Ryzen 2000 series CPUs and currently, you can choose from a Ryzen 3 2200U, Ryzen 5 2500U or a Ryzen 7 PRO 2700U APU. The rest of the specifications are highly customisable. You can have up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM; a M.2 SSD up to 512GB and up to a 1TB mechanical hard drive; a 14-inch display up to full-HD resolution and up to Windows 10 Pro for software. Physical ports includes three USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, HDMI 1.4b, LAN, a headphone and microphone combo, and a SD card reader. There's an option for a fingerprint sensor too.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super, GeForce RTX 2070 Super, GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPUs Launched
Nvidia has taken the wraps off its         heavily rumoured GeForce RTX Super series, launching three new models that it          says deliver much more performance than the existing GeForce RTX 20 series. The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super, GeForce RTX 2070 Super, and GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPUs will be available around the world including in India from June 9 onwards. They are all based on the same Turing architecture as their predecessors, but feature bigger GPUs with more execution units to increase performance. While the prices of these GPUs are the same as or slightly higher than those of the models they supersede, India prices are actually lower in some cases.

The new GeForce RTX 2080 Super is the top model, but is still positioned below the existing GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which will continue to live on at its current price. The price for the GeForce RTX 2080 Super in India is Rs. 61,400 ($699 in the USA), compared to Rs. 69,900 launch price for the GeForce RTX 2080. According to Nvidia, this GPU delivers as much performance as the workstation-grade Nvidia Titan Xp. Graphics cards based on this GPU, including Nvidia's Founders Edition card, will be available for sale starting July 23.

Asus VivoBook 14 X412, VivoBook 15 X512 With Up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 Processors Launched in India



Asus on Tuesday refreshed its VivoBook series with two new models -- a 14-inch VivoBook X412 and a 15.6-inch VivoBook X512 -- in India. Both Asus VivoBook 14 X412 and VivoBook 15 X512 feature frameless four-sided NanoEdge displays and will be available at starting prices of Rs. 33,990 and Rs. 34,990, respectively. The laptops are powered by up to 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor with Nvidia GeForce MX250 discrete graphics that would support smooth multitasking.

WWDC 2019: Apple Turns iPad Into a Second Mac Display With Sidecar on macOS Catalina
At its WWDC 2019 keynote, Apple announced a new extended desktop feature called Sidecar for the new macOS Catalina — named after a southern California island — allowing users to use their iPad as a second display, or as an input device in creative apps such as Adobe Illustrator. The former use case is straightforward, letting you extend or mirror your main display, as per your requirements. With the latter, you can now use the Apple Pencil to interact with Mac apps, provided your iPad supports it. Better yet, Sidecar will work wired or wireless (10-metre range), which gives you more freedom to use it how you please. At WWDC 2019, Apple also unveiled changes to iOStvOS, and watchOS, apart from announcing iPadOS.
Naturally, you'll be able to use all iPad gestures to interact with Mac apps, including the new ones — three-finger cut, copy, paste, and undo — announced at the developer-oriented WWDC 2019 keynote on Monday. Sidecar will also offer a sidebar on your iPad for commonly used controls, be it modifier keys for shortcuts, or buttons to hide the menu bar, dock, and keyboard. Additionally, Touch Bar controls will appear at the bottom of the iPad screen when using Sidecar, even if your Mac doesn't have a Touch Bar.
