After unveiling a slew of laptops and tablets including the 'world's slimmest gaming laptop with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080' at Computex 2017, Asus has now launched its third generation mainstream notebook, called VivoBook Max X541/A541 for the Indian market. The new laptop is priced starting Rs. 31,990 (with Free DOS) and is available across all partner retailers in a choice of five colours including Chocolate Brown, Red, Silver Gradient, Aqua Blue and White.
The VivoBook Max X541 features a 15.6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and is powered by a Intel Core i3-7100U processor coupled with Intel HD Graphics 620 and 4GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, which is expandable up to 12GB. The laptop features a 'gaming grade chiclet keyboard' with a 2.3mm key travel distance and overall weighs just 1.9kg. It comes with a 1TB 5400RPM HDD, and also features an optical drive.
Dimensions of the VivoBook Max X541 are 381x252x27.6mm. It is powered by a 3-cell 36WHr battery. Asus says that the touchpad on the VivoBook Max is around 11 percent larger than those found on laptops of similar size, and it also features palm rejection technology for precise input. The notebook comes with twin 3W speakers with 24cc sound chambers and a special transmission line design for a rich, deep baseline and clear, distinct vocals.
