HP Pavilion Wave and Modular Elite Slice PCs Launched in India

Even though statistics continuously show that there is a decline in the demand for desktop PCs around the world, it is hard to deny that the category still enjoys a huge user base. With the aim of increasing its market share in this category, HP on Monday announced two new desktop PCs - 'HP Pavilion Wave' and 'HP Elite Slice'.
HP Pavilion Wave, as the company says, has been designed keeping in mind the requirements of users at home. HP claims that the compact design of Pavilion Wave help the users fit it anywhere at their homes. The company says that despite its compact design, Pavilion Wave has desktop power required for productivity as well as entertainment needs of the users.

AMD Launches 7th-Gen 'Bristol Ridge' CPUs and New Socket AM4 Platform

AMD has announced that HP and Lenovo have begun shipping PCs with its new 7th-generation A-series processors, codenamed 'Bristol Ridge'. The refresh also introduces AMD's new unified AM4 platform which will serve for this generation as well as upcoming consumer Zen CPUs. The launches will give a struggling AMD some presence in the market to compete with devices based onIntel's new Kaby Lake processors which will be available in full force this holiday shopping season.
AMD says that 7th-gen A-series CPUs will deliver as much power in a 65-Watt envelope as their predecessors did while consuming 95 Watts. Comparing an A12-9800 with an Intel Core i5-6500 which it says is equivalent in terms of CPU performance, AMD claims a 99 percent increase in graphics performance in at least one specific benchmark test. The A12-9800 is a 65W quad-core part with a maximum clock of 4.2GHz and Radeon R7-class graphics.

Micromax Neo LPQ61407W Windows 10 Laptop With 14-Inch Display

After the Alpha LI351, Micromax has now launched another Windows 10 laptop in India. The Neo LPQ61407W is exclusively available on Amazon India, and is priced at Rs. 17,990.
As for the specifications, the Micromax Neo LPQ61407W features a 14-inch (1366x768 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Pentium N3700 quad-core processor paired with 4GB of DDR3L RAM. The laptop comes with 500GB of hard disk drive (HDD), which is further expandable via a microSD slot.
There is a 1-megapixel HD webcam, microphone jack, 3.5mm headphone out, and dual speakers for video calling. It comes in a Black colour option, and packs a 4800mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, Micro-HDMI Port, and one RJ45 Ethernet port.

Logitech Unveils M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Mouse and Silent Mouse Series at IFA 2016
Does the clicking sound from your mouse bother you? If yes, Logitech has now launched two mouse pointing devices that will take care of this problem for you. If the company is to be believed, the peripherals reduce noise by approximately 90 percent over conventional offerings. The company ahead of IFA 2016 also launched the M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Mouse, meant to be paired with several device types simultaneously.The Logitech M220 Silent and Logitech M330 Silent Plus have been launched at $25 (roughly Rs. 1,700) and $30 (roughly Rs. 2,000). The M330 Silent Plus will be available in select stores from September, while the M220 Silent will be made available from October. They are compatible with Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, and Linux systems.
The M220 Silent carries a battery life of 18-months while the M330 Silent Plus variant packs a battery life of 24-months. The peripherals are capable of working from up to 33-feet away through a wireless connection. Both mice come with sensor resolution of 1000 dpi.

Alienware Launches VR-Ready Laptops With Nvidia GeForce GTX 10-Series Graphics
Gamers around the world wait eagerly for Alienwarelaptops for a reason. Dell's Alienware brand has developed a name for itself for great gaming performance on the go. The latest entrants to this series unveiled by the company are all VR-ready - the refreshed Alienware 13, Alienware 15, and Alienware 17. The company launched the laptops alongside celebrating its 20-year anniversary,
Unveiled at PAX West on Thursday, the new Alienware 13 will be launched on November 16 in the US alongside the GeForce GTX 1080 variant of the Alienware 17. The Alienware 15 and Alienware 17 are due on September 30 in the US. All three laptops pack Nvidia's GeForce GTX 10-series graphic cards for notebooks. Alienware 13 comes with an option for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, Alienware 15 will come with an option for the GTX 1060 alongside the GeForce GTX 1070, while Alienware 17 will come with options for both the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080.
Interestingly, Dell seems to have made the laptops much slimmer than their previous versions - however, they are now deeper thanks to the placement of the cooling systems. Notably, the company has also revamped its logo alongside. The laptops have also been provided with Windows Hello support as now you can log in to the Windows with the help of face-detection feature.
